"Does this condor have the "bump of mathematics" ?
In the 19th century, there was a science called "phrénology" : All the brain capacities are distributed in well defined aeras of the brain. The doctor Franz Joseph Gall thinked that people who have a big bump on the head are good in mathematics. He thinked that the shape of the skull determin the importance of these abilities.
This "science" is now abandoned but the expression "avoir la bosse des mathématiques" has remained!
