Slow Improvements

The Valley fire east of us is 87% contained now. It has burned 17,665 acres / 7,149 hectares since it started eleven days ago.
The air quality is still in the unhealthy index, but is improving. No chance of rain, our only hope is continued on-shore flow from the Pacific Ocean.

Glad there are improvements. Despite a little rain yesterday, warnings still here of 'very unhealthy air quality'. Haven't seen the sun in days.

clearly looking a bit better, but those westerlies can't come soon enough...cool you caught the sun at such low elevation to accentuate the smoke effect..
