Resilient

Despite the fact it is January and we have had at least six rainstorms and quite a bit of wind, this maple seems to have retained almost all of its leaves.

That's interesting. We have a similar situation here. Normally, about half of our trees turn color and shed leaves in Winter, usually December. We've had very windy and rainy weather for the past 6 weeks, yet many trees still have their colored leaves. It's like a prolonged Autumn. Very beautiful color and light here. V
