Geese on Christmas Eve

Luckily for these recent visitors from the north Geese are not on the menu for Christmas around here.
Probably the wrong type of geese anyway.

I think they're pretty tasty, if carefully prepared, i love this shot, but too many of them make walking in the grass a challenge.

not on the menu many other places either...apparently Canada Geese are not the tastiest fowl around, although some selected parts, breasts in particular, are savoured by some people... where they live and what they eat seems a big factor...up here they are familiar local characters, yet also cause many problems...they are also ornery, so best approached with caution...admire your engaging shot here..
