Road Geese

These two were in the middle of the access road to the lake. Everyone had to walk or drive around them.
After my recent encounter with a goose that felt I had invaded its personal space, this is as close as I wanted to get.

They can be really nasty this time of year. I've seen them go after car tires as the car went by.

they can be fearless and aggressive...just as well to keep your distance, particularly if they have young ones..
