Super Moon

My attempt at photographing the rising moon from our backyard was hampered by high humidity, haze and my lack of know how.

Your exposure looks good and you got your shot!!! We had similar humidity and haze here, too. Plus our sky was totally socked in by clouds all day and most of the night. Fortunately, there came a slight break after the moon was high in the sky; just long enough for me to fire off a couple of shots. =D> Nevertheless, thick haze still covered the moon. So I do understand the battle you were fighting. Nature doesn't always co-operate with photography. Nevertheless, a good photographer does his best anyhow. Kudos to you on this shot!!!
