On the Beach

An unusual find at low tide. This Octopus was about 12 inches across.
The tide had turned and it was overcast so I am quite sure it survived.

The stretch of beach between La Jolla Shores and Torrey Pines State Beach is about 5 miles long,
without buildings and very few people. A wonderful place to walk, but it can be accessed only at low tide.
Especially if you're carrying camera gear.
