A sad day, Umberto Eco has passed away. Best known for his novels, in particular "The Name of the Rose".
I enjoyed his works on Philosophy, Aesthetics, Semiotics, Literary Theory, Linguistics and his essays.
Makes me treasure my signed copy of "Foucault's Pendulum" even more.
