Kaffir Limes

This fruit is native to tropical Asia including India, Nepal, Bangladesh,Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines.
It is used in Southeast Asian cuisine, the oil from it is used in perfumery, and also shampoo as well cleaning clothes and as shampoo.
For cooking the leaves are used in curries and for steaming fish or chicken. I use it for Thai and Indonesian cooking.
The juice is highly acidic, it is wonderful on freshly cut Papaya. Is is delicious and very fragrant. Even just touching the limes makes your hands smell like citrus.
We are considering buying a 2-3 year old tree, and if we do, we will need to decide whether to grow it in a pot or in the ground.

I have never heard of it and I enjoyed your detailed use of it. To cook as you do, you are a man of diverse talents.

Interesting information too! You'll have to let us know if you plant a tree in a pot or the ground!
