Grand Opening George's Camera

George's Camera has been in business for 50 years. This is their new location in Kearny Mesa north of San Diego.
I am a big believer in supporting local brick and mortar businesses and will not buy photographic equipment on line as George's can match all their prices.
I spoke to the reps from Canon, Manfrotto, Nikon, Sony and Tamron about doing hands-on demonstration events for our photo group next year.

That's great. We have lost a few camera stores in the past few years. They can't compete with big box stores and Amazon.

Looks like they are still selling film (i.e., Ilford). Good for them.
