Sunrise this Morning

We have been experiencing Santa Ana Conditions for several days now with record breaking heat.
The high temperature forecast for today is 81 °F with humidity less than 20%. This is cooler than yesterday.
Luckily the winds are calm, but the fire danger is very high and Cal Fire is on alert.
The chance of rain in the foreseeable future is 0%. We desperately need rain.

References to Santa Ana winds always remind me of that wonderful passage in the Raymond Chandler story. I like the way the sky deepens to almost black in the upper right. V
