Shot on Goal

A photo shoot with our group at the San Diego Polo Club proved to be very challenging today.
Fast moving subjects, difficult background and ever changing distance of the subjects.
Practice and patience are needed here, plus the right gear. Here I used the wrong gear, D700 + 70-200.
In subsequent chukkers I changed to D300 + 80-400, which proved more versatile, and all the practice from shooting airborne Pelicans came in handy too.
