Eleven members of our Photo Group drove to Irwindale, California for "The Original Renaissance Pleasure Faire" yesterday morning.
We arrived about a half hour early and waited at the entrance where we were entertained by musicians, dancers and jesters.
We were standing together when this old Soothsayer came up to us and began telling us stories.
He also showed us a variety of tricks, including cutting an apple in two pieces which are not halves. I couldn't begin to describe how to do this.
I found the old man fascinating, as he played his role so convincingly, and found that it was the shortest half hour I ever spent waiting.
