Indonesian Breakfast

A nice hot bowl of Bubur Ayam for Breakfast.
This dish is popular throughout South East Asia, and is also known as Congee.
It is a Rice Gruel, and this one has shredded chicken, chicken broth, green onion, fried onions, chili paste, soy sauce and fish sauce as ingredients.
All I can say is Selamat Makan, that's Bon Apetit in Indonesian!

The image above was taken for the Weekly Informal Challenge (Week 41): "What's for Breakfast?"

Really great shot - colors and detail are awesome. Not my type of breakfast but might be healthier than what I usually eat! BV

Very exotic breakfast, a little bit too spicy for my taste. I would try it for dinner, though.

Hi, this is Michele. This is my kind of breakfast--salty, spicy, complex. Love those flavors, and the presentation is beautiful.

Walter, that is a great way to start the New Day with a nice hot bowl of Bubur Ayam for Breakfast. Much more healthy than Sausage, Bacon. Fried Eggs and a fried slice, the English Breakfast ! ........ voted
