Surprising

I found myself face to face with a Coyote this morning!

Luckily for me the Coyote was stuffed.
Taken at the Visitors Center Mission Trails Regional Park.

He'd been scavenging no doubt.
They're beautiful animals. I played with some wild pups once, but wouldn't want to be this close to a wild adult! Yikes.
