South South East

This impressive looking compass is part of a game at the Wild Animal Park which I assume is for children.
The compasses are mounted on top of little wheels that control little ships that one can navigate around a pond for a dollar, or two or three.
Presumably the compasses are to be used for navigation, but it seems no one ever does. Instead the goal seems to be to ram the other little ships in the pond at maximum speed.
Several allegorical messages here.

Where's the fun in getting from A to B if you can't sink someone on the way?! Cool looking compass :o)

Thanks for the explanation Walter. Big boys, little boys, I'm sure they all love to ram each other's ships in the pond!
:-)

Kids will be kids....love the story behind it. Great compass...yeah, if there are other kids in the pond then they will be rammed. I'd be there right along with them. Bumper boats...better than bumper cars!
