The Mad Bishop and Bear on the mezzanine floor at Paddington is a nice quiet oasis away from the mad hubbub that is going on down on the main concourse.

Not only is it in the good beer guide, though we did not sample at 9-00 in the morning it does have a decent breakfast menu and "sausage egg and chips"with red sauce of course) went down well as an appetiser to the brunch we hoped to get on the train

For breakfast highly recommended 8/10
