The DC-3 's last tour....Doncaster Airport April 2008

Thanks to our European nanny state the DC-3 will be retired from passenger service on the 15th July 2008 as it does not comply with new regulations such as O2 masks ( it is not pressurised so doesn't need them), escape chutes ( to get you 4 feet to the ground in an emergency) to name two of the ridiculous new rules. The last passenger carrying plane in the UK is making a final tour of the UK with flights at Various airports over the next two months. www.classicflight.com. That is insane, grounding such a beauty.....What is next, seat belts on church organs? Just for the case, two collide head on? Nice pictures though, the weather fits the occasion!

Correct unless the mods are done..no passengers. It can still carry freight or undertake displays

Dose this mean it can not carry passengers at all. I thought the US/FAA was only that stupid. Hopefully it will keep fling at air shows.
