This is a view of Kazan Kremlin, old russian fortress build on the top of tartar fortress. I use to live in Kazan city, capital of Tatarstan Republic. Tatarstan is a part of Russia since 16 century, when Russian tzar Ivan IV (also known as Ivan the Terrible) captured Kazan by force. The story is here:
