Surprisingly, Ichiro went hitless against Armas and two relievers,
not once getting on base safely. His remarkable cannon of an
arm was on display early in the game, though, despite the
2nd base umpire's generous safe call for a slow-footed
Nationals batter. Shame on all the professional outfielders
who can't gun the ball like this amazing 5'9" giant of the game.
