at one of my father-in-law's favorite sushi restaurants. I was
overly enamored of the maguro - tuna - which prompted my
father-in-law to ask the chef if their tuna was especially good
this evening. To which the chef, nonplussed and bemused, replied,
'it's just the usual today, nothing exceptional.' Chalk it up to
a gaijin's introduction to far fresher sushi than he can ever expect
back in the States.
