Located within the greater Seoul city limits, this heavily forested, mountainous area often served as a critical pass between the northern and southern regions of the Korea peninsula. It's akin to Santa Monica Mountains near LA. Weekends witness wondrous hordes of Seoul residents climbing over every available path in the park. Fortunately, we visited on a Tuesday.
