We made this one of our outings while visiting Eureka last October. We were a liitle apprehensive when we began our walk due to the sign at the entrance of the trail letting you know what wildlife we could encounter. Truly we didn,t want to chance upon a bear or coyote etc. Our walk was event free and very peaceful as we completed the loop trail. I could tell we were enjoying a mere remnant of this area's original splender. It was evident that some clear cutting had taken place here. If only the logging community could see the beautiful trees as we do.
