More than just a song from "Fiddler on the Roof", this is a staple of the landscape photographer. The "golden hour" of the day can occur at either event but the closer you move to the polar latitudes, the longer it can become. I once sat at a glacial lagoon in Iceland watching icebergs chase each other around the lake. In four hours there were four completely different sunsets over four completely different landscapes. All with out moving. Just magic!
