I lived in London for 2 years, and there is no vantage point to see the city (however, books/helicopters solve this) - I have never seen views like this of Paris, and they are really neat.
Compared to American and Asian cities, it's amazing how 'flat' and 'dull' European cities can be (but London is changing rapidly)
