The Old Post Office in Ghent is on the corner of the Corn Market and St. Michael's Bridge, and its rear is on Graslei by the canal. It was built between 1898 and 1910 in a mix of styles that echo those of the buildings in its vicinity on Graslei and the Corn Market area, and it has a 170ft high clock tower. The building is decorated with about 100 statues and coats of arms representing Belgium, Flanders and Wallonia. In 1998 the Post Office sold the building and it has since become a shopping mall.
