The Apple Bridge Park is a hidden gem in Ghent.......a tiny grassy knoll with pink benches and picnic tables, a few low trees, and steps down to a wonderful viewpoint of the canal, the Great Butchers’ Hall and the renovated Old Fish Market. Curiously, even though the park has existed for a long time, its glass fibre bridge was only opened in 2010, connecting it with Old Fish Market, and no bridge was ever built here before.
