An isolated ancient oak at Lords Piece, a little triangle of heathland on the West Sussex Walks Serpent Trail, near Fittleworth.
It is also an important place where the field cricket has been discovered. Ecologists only recently realised that there were less than 100 of this very rare species left in the UK.
