There used to be miles of buildings like this on the River Thames, but this is now one of the last remaining in London.
Metropolitan Wharf at Wapping is a 6-storey Grade II listed warehouse, built between 1862-1898, and was in use as such until the late 1960s. In a conservation area, refurbishment of the building began in 2005 and was completed in 2008. Retaining its historic facade, it now houses a mixtured of residential, industrial and commercial units.
