The Church of St Mary the Virgin.
This flint-built church is mentioned in 11th century Domesday Book and the nave is probably of this period. The rest of the bulding was added in the 12th and early 13th centuries, except the tower which was built in the 15th century. The southern part became unsafe and was taken down in 1800. It was eventually re-built in 1868, for the sum of £225 of which the generous vicar paid half.
