This little church was built in Romanesque style during the 11th century. It stands in a corner of the Market Square. The church preceded the Square by nearly a century. The interior of the church is cramped, relative to its larger exterior. The floor level is situated under the present level of the Square. The church was partially reconstructed in the Baroque style between 1611-1618.
