Steyning - West Sussex

This flint building was an important coin mint belonging to the crown, in mediaeval times, and later became the town jail.

Beautiful architectural study. It seems funny that a mint and a jail are conncted, as rhe love of one tends to lead to the other. Lol! Voted.
