Images created using the technique of light painting.
Light painting involves setting the camera up on a tripod and setting a long shutter speed (normally 10 seconds to 30 seconds and sometimes more). The image is then 'painted' with light using a constant light source such as a flashlight.
Images in this gallery are painted with a Zebralight SC600 CREE LED flashlight. It is small enough to fit in the palm of my hand, yet outputs a huge 750 lumens of light which makes it perfect for light painting.
