I lived with the Astete family in Cusco, Peru for 4 weeks. They were wonderful people who graciously invited me into their home and made me feel part of their family. I lived with them while I attended the Excel language school to study Spanish intensively. These are some of the people from my family and school. I was also fortunate to have a friend there. My good friend, Peggy, has a brother, Jeff Powers who owns the bar Norton Rats in the Plaza de Armas in Cusco. He helped me in getting around and introduced me to his beautiful life in and around Cusco.
