On the way from Tomar to Lisbon, we stopped at medieval Óbidos and the royal Queluz Palace.
These two places were extremely different—not just in their architecture, but also in the mood created by the weather.
Óbidos met us with a gloomy, almost rainy sky, but the sun broke through just as we arrived at Queluz Palace.
