The traditional Boxing Day parade of the hounds took place at 11am this morning outside The Guildhall. We just happened to be in town at the time changing the faulty Playstation and browsing the books in the sale at WH Smiths when we noticed a gathering on the lawn in front of The Guildhall. Now having taken a piece of my own advice I had my little Canon with me and some of the pictures are to be seen below. Ellie was in her elements stroking almost all the coats and patting the horses whilst Chris kept tugging on the bag containing the PS2 and nagging to go home. I have to say that by posting these pictures I neither condone or oppose hunting with dogs, it was merely a chance to do some snapping and let Ellie meet some real fur, I mean hair. This is a little bit of a predicatble choice of subject for boxong day (but, hey, we mostly used predictable for Christmas Day), but the shot is a fine one.

Very cool! I like all the diagonal lines and how you framed this. Excellent!
