Malaysia's 50th anniversary of independance celebrations held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Malaysia celebrates it's 50th anniversary of independance on 31st August 2007. The main celebrations will take place at the Merdeka Square, where independance was first declared in 1957 by the late Tunku Abdul Rahman, who went on to become the first Prime Minister of the country. The photos on this page were taken 2 days prior to the event, where a full dress rehearsal took place on a gloomy Wednesday morning.
