Arguably one of the most expensive hotels in the world, Leela Palace is situated very close to the Bangalore Airport and room rates start at US$450 for a deluxe room. Room rates in Bagalore are known to be exorbitant (4-stars start at about US$300) but Leela is probably the extreme end.

Inside the Leela, it is nice but nothing close to it's asking price. With many city dwellers struggling to earn a living, it is downright disgusting to see hotels asking for such prices. However, despite the price, the hotel (like anywhere else in Bangalore) is always running a full house.
