Old tech

Some things are built to last - some things are designed to be discarded soon. The technology, machines, methods and products from yesterday's designers and workers can induce admiration, nostalgia, laughter, admiration or just incredulity. There is value in studying how things were once done.

I wonder what such monuments to passed over technology will tell the archaeologists of the future.
