Blue Mountains Escape September 2007 (New South Wales)

In September 2007 Sydney was overrun by gun toting Secret Service types when President Bush and the others came to Sydney for APEC.

I invited some friends to stay with us in a rented house in the Blue Mountains west of Sydney so we could all escape the security fences, helicopters and the general madness of APEC coming to town.

This gallery reflects our experience of APEC - being as far away from it as possible. Some of these images were taken in the vicinity of Dargan which is on the road to Lithgow in New South Wales. Have a look at Google Maps if you want to find out where this is.

The beauty and tranquillity of the Blue Mountains and environs is simply exquisite. I will upload more images over the next few days.
