It's a big day. India vs Pakistan in the semi-final of the Cricket World Cup. The office was very quiet this afternoon; the evening rush hour traffic didn't exist; the Sony store had a crowd standing outside watching the game through the windows on the display TVs... As I type Afridi, the captain of the Pakistan team, has just been caught out. Fireworks are being let off in the neighbourhood, I can hear shouting, this is a big deal.... Every Indian is hanging on every ball...

Except that after my record drive home I got my hair cut. The guys in the room in which I get my hair cut were avoiding the cricket and were watching a very odd - and clearly very very amusing - show about a vampire. Had the best head massage of my life.
