Congratulations on a superb gallery Alex!!!

I saw this bird in Sri Lanka but it was very shy and I couldn't get near; yet in West Africa these birds are VERY approachable to the point of tameness! I wonder why the African Pied Kingfishers are so confiding yet the Asian birds are so skittish.

La belleza de este ave es espectacular, tuvisteis que pasarlo fantástico tomando esta increíble serie de fotografias, me tienes que llevar alli algún día, aunque solo sea para verlo, ya que mejorar estas fotos es algo impensable
