I do not think you will get the same skin tones with the S3. I do not own either camera but from what I have seen the S2 is hard to beat. The S3 looks very good but the S2 looks to be right on the money.

I found out wich portrait you mean.
It's my daughter.
That shot was done with the sigma 50-500.
I have changed that lense later for the nikon 80-400 VR
Sometimes i still miss that sigma lense.
It's bulky but tack sharp and fast focus.

I only bought the nikon for the VR system wich works great.

Rami,

Thanks for your nice comments
Which picture do you mean exactly.
Somehow i cant trace with the number of pbase.

I am using several lenses, but the sharpest one is the nikon 28-70 2.8
it's expensive but worth every penny

If you need some more advice , just give me an e-mail

Amazing photo, I really like the colors that your S@ has produced and that is certainly because you know how to handle the settings quite well.

One question was it possible to have the hair and the eyes in focus too.

By the way your website is also great.

I lately bought my S2 pro and would like your advice on what lens i should buy to take pefect portraits.

Thank you in advance for your reply.
