Eglise Romane de Saint-Saturnin, SAINT-SATURNIN, Auvergne
The smallest of the five major Romanesque churches of the Auvergne, Saint Saturnin is the only one to have kept its original tower and lantern. All the others copied the pattern in their reconstruction. Completed in 1157, the apse has no radiating chapels and the interior is very simple.
