Viaduc de Millau, Aveyron, Midi-Pyrénées, France

The Millau Viaduct is tallest vehicular bridge in the world, the highest pillar being 343 metres (1126 feet) high and the road deck is 270 metres (886 feet) above the River Tarn, making it the second highest measured from the roadway. The length of the viaduct is 2460 metres (8071 feet).

The viaduct was opened in December 2004.
