Remove fuel tank skirts. Cut fuel fillers from skirts and cut down fuel filler plate to just below fuel filler cap and then glue back on sill – cut the bottom fuel filler frame so that it is flush with rest of sill horizontally

Remove piping behind skirts

Make new Emergency Fuel Cutoff button plates from .040 styrene by eye. Mine ended up about .060 in height with 45-degree angles on the ends. I drilled a #64 hole on the center then took a piece of .019 wire and made the 'button' with it, making a 90-degree turn on the wire so I could glue it to the back of the styrene. Prime, paint yellow, then button signal red. Use square, red decals from Microscale sheet 87- for the area around the button.

Touch up base of frame sill with SF Blue paint in areas that need it, including bottom of emergency fuel cutoff panel

Add a DW -139 air filter (large one) just ahead of the engineer's side emergency fuel cutoff. I built up a .060 styrene base to mount it on. Paint it black.
