"I had a farm in Africa, at the foot of the Ngong Hills…"
The home of Karen Blixen (Isak Dinesen) who wrote the book 'Out of Africa' (later to be made into an Oscar winning film with Robert Redford and Meryl Streep).
Built in 1912, Baroness Blixen lived here for several years. It was also frequented by her lover Denys Fynch Hatton. The house is exactly as it was nearly 100 years ago with many of the original furnishings. Go and watch the Film!!
