On April 12, 2014, popular Sacramento-based Americana/rock band Walking Spanish ventured into the depths of Chico State University's Meriam Library basement. The recording session they did there, which included "Phoenix Down" and "Jacksin (is Long Gone)," was a cool hands-on learning experience for students from both Dann Sargent's Remote Audio Recording class and Dan Carter's Video Production Workshop.
