Rhonda Vincent and the Rage brought the contemporary glory of old-time bluegrass to the Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. Big Room on Jan. 6, 2011. The so-called "bluegrass queen" – she’s amassed seven International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) Female Vocalist of the Year awards and five Society for Preservation of Bluegrass Music in America Entertainer of the Year awards – presided over a crisp and flawless 105-minute set that gave reverence to the style of Lester Flatt and Earl Scruggs and other performers from the Grand Ole Opry's heyday.
