A cool, misty morning gradually dried up as more than 60,000 people converged on the 11th annual Power to the Peacful Festival on Sept. 12, 2009. Taking place once again at Speedway Meadow, in Golden Gate Park, San Francisco, the fest featured headliner and organizer Michael Franti, along with a hit-filled acoustic set by Alanis Morissette, Sly and Robbie, Cherine Anderson, and many other musicians, speakers, artists and artisans.
